Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for online appointments booked and paid through E Innventive OPD. All fees mentioned below are configured by the clinic and may be updated from time to time.

Payment Gateway Fee (MDR) — CashfreeVaries by payment method · non-refundable
A payment-gateway fee (MDR) is charged by Cashfree when you pay online. This charge is retained by the payment provider and is non-refundable, so it is deducted from your refund when you cancel your own appointment. If the clinic or doctor reschedules your appointment and you decline, you receive a full refund with no payment-gateway fee deducted. The MDR varies by payment method and may be ₹0 for some methods such as UPI.

Patient Self Cancellation

If you cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the following are deducted from your payment and the remaining amount is refunded:

  • Payment Gateway Fee (MDR), charged by Cashfree — non-refundable, varies by payment method

Total deducted: the payment-gateway fee (MDR). The remaining amount is refunded to your original payment method, and your refund is never less than ₹0.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may not be eligible for a refund.

Clinic-Initiated Cancellations & Reschedules

If the clinic or doctor cancels or reschedules your appointment:

  • You will be notified and may accept the new schedule or request a cancellation.
  • If the clinic or doctor reschedules your appointment and you choose not to accept the new time, you receive a full refund of the consultation fee — no cancellation fee and no payment-gateway fee (MDR) are deducted.
  • If clinic staff cancel your appointment for other reasons, cancellation fees may apply and are deducted as shown in the Fee Schedule above (Clinic Cancellation Fee, Platform Cancellation Fee, and the non-refundable payment-gateway fee); the remaining amount is refunded to your original payment method.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, or card used during payment).
  • Refunds typically take 5–7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • You will receive a confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

No-Show Policy

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment without prior cancellation, the appointment will be marked as completed and no refund will be issued.

Changes to This Policy

E Innventive OPD may update cancellation fees and refund rules from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page and apply to future bookings.
